100 YEARS STRONG – WEST COAST SUSPENSIONS AND SURFING WA CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP BUILT FOR ADVENTURE

Surfing WA is thrilled to announce the continuation of its long-standing partnership with West Coast Suspensions (WCS) in 2025, a collaboration that speaks directly to the heart of West Australian surfers—a tribe of travellers, adventurers, and lovers of the great outdoors.

Since 2013, WCS has been a key supporter of WA surfing, backing some of the state’s most prestigious events. This year, they return as naming rights sponsor for both the WCS WA Surf Masters (March 14-16) and WCS WA Longboard Championships (June 13-15). Additionally, they will continue to support marquee events such as King of the Point (March 28-30) and the Whalebone Longboard Classic (July 11-13).

For WCS owner Jim McCully, the partnership is about giving back to a sport that has given him so much.

“Surfing is such an elemental sport—it’s something you can do solo or with mates. It gets you out into nature, keeps your body and mind clear, and sometimes, all it takes is one magic wave per session,” said McCully. “We love supporting grassroots sport, especially in WA, because it helps bring people together, gets them outdoors, and fosters a sense of connection and adventure.”

That same spirit of adventure and reliability has driven WCS for 100 years, cementing its reputation as one of WA’s most trusted names in suspension for 4WDs, trucks, and commercial vehicles. Just like WA’s best surfers, they thrive on performance when it matters most.

Surfing WA Events Manager Justin Majeks said the partnership is a natural fit.

“West Coast Suspensions has been an incredible partner since 2013, helping us grow key events across the state. It’s fantastic to work with a company that shares our passion for surfing and the WA coastline.”

With WA’s best surfers gearing up for an epic 2025 season, Surfing WA looks forward to another massive year with the support of West Coast Suspensions.
