SURFING WA AND CLUB MED CONTINUE TO RIDE THE WAVE OF ADVENTURE INTO 2025

West Australian surfing icons like Jacob Willcox, Felicity Palmateer, and Luke Campbell have experienced the magic of Club Med Kani in the Maldives, where world-class waves meet tropical luxury. Meanwhile, Surfing WA ambassadors Imogen and Cortney Brown, along with their young family, swapped surfboards for skis, carving fresh tracks on the pristine slopes of Club Med Japan.

Building on these extraordinary adventures, Surfing WA is thrilled to announce the continuation of its partnership with Club Med for a third consecutive year. This collaboration continues to connect Western Australian’s surfing community with dream destinations, from idyllic sun-drenched islands to action-packed snow resorts.

To celebrate this milestone, Surfing WA and Club Med are offering members the chance to win an extraordinary 7-night all-inclusive family holiday with Club Med. For 2025, the destination is none other than the recently renovated Club Med Phuket, a tropical paradise where white-sand beaches meet crystal-clear waters and playful surf.

Located on the stunning Kata Beach, Club Med Phuket offers endless opportunities to unwind or seek adventure – from snorkelling with vibrant marine life to thrilling water sports. And surfers can enjoy one of the region’s best surf spots suitable for all levels.

The grand prize includes accommodation for two adults and two children, gourmet dining and drinks, sports and activities, a children’s club, and daily entertainment – ensuring a truly seamless and luxurious holiday experience.

Surfing WA CEO Mark Lane shared his excitement about continuing this successful collaboration:

“Club Med has become a natural fit for our surfing community of passionate surfers and adventurers. We’re thrilled to mark another year of partnership with this incredible giveaway. Phuket is a dream destination, and we can’t wait to see one of our members experience it firsthand.”

Club Med’s General Manager for the Pacific, Michelle Davies, echoed the enthusiasm:

“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Surfing WA and strengthen our connection with this vibrant and adventurous community. Whether it’s catching waves or hitting the slopes, Club Med offers the perfect combination of luxury and adventure, and we look forward to welcoming and showcasing our worldwide resorts to Surfing WA members and the broader surfing community.”

In addition to the competition, Club Med will continue its strong presence at key Surfing WA events, including the iconic King of the Point at Trigg Beach, and Groundswell Festival in Scarborough to strengthen ties with Western Australia’s surfing community.
