SURFING WA ANNOUNCES EVENTS SCHEDULE FOR 2021

Surfing Western Australia is excited to announce its schedule of events for 2021.

After a challenging 2020, next years calendar is jam-packed with close to 30 State, Specialty, National and International events to be held throughout WA’s major surfing regions.

The 2021 competition season will commence in January with the 16th annual Taj’s Small Fries kicking off in Yallingup on the 15th – 17th January.

Cornerstone events on the 2021 calendar include; The World Surf League Margaret River Pro, The Corsaire Aviation King of the Point, The 23rd Whalebone Longboard Classic, The WSL WA Pro Surf Series, as well as a suite of events that will cater for West Australian shortboarders, longboarders, bodyboarders and stand up paddleboarders (SUP).

Surfing WA is looking forward to visiting many of the State’s iconic locations with some exciting plans to surfing’s stoke through regional and metropolitan Western Australia.

“We’re continually looking to improve our events and competitions across all codes and we’re excited for the year ahead,” said Surfing WA Events Manager Justin Majeks. “Delivering the best experience for our members, supporting club events and exposing more people to our wonderful surfing community is what I’m most looking forward to in 2021.”
